More than on line quote

i filled in the form on-line for a quote, but it does not seem to ask about past claims etc, someone from more than called me yesterday to ask if i was going to go ahead and i mentioned this to her, she said if i go on to purchase it asks for further information etc and i can fill it in there, well i went further to see and it doesn't ask this,
i have had 2 smallish claims on my contents in the last 5 years and am concerned that if i go ahead the insurance will be void if i need to claim even though it is not my fault, i was going to do this through Quidco too as they offer £65 cashback so i do not want to call them for a quote etc

any ideas?

I've had a quick look at morethan and it does ask about claims in the past 5 years. On the second page, "About You" (the page where you fill in the information on the car, mileage, renewal date etc), there is a line that says "Have you or any of the drivers to be insured had any claims or accidents in the last five years regardless whether a claim was made or not?". Make sure you click the yes button next to that and it will ask for details on the next page.

that was for a car, i am looking at home and buildings insurance it hardley asks anything, basically your name, address and DOB
  • This is a trick by MoreThan. They'll lure you to buy their insurance. Once you make a claim, they'll say that it took them a long time to investigate your claim's history. They do 2 investigations apparently, one of them is called the master. They'll adjust your policy so you'll have to pay them the money you thought you saved. Also, there's a big chance MoeThan won't pay nothing as they'll accuse you of lying.

A friend of mine had an accident which wasn't his fault but morethan forced him to pay all the charges, nearly £800!

I wouldn't use morethan but it's upto you.
