:T HI,, wow I am inspired by u all!!
I don't have a 'plan' to save but I need one lol!!
I mean I know we have (DH and 3 kids) a mortgage/loans/card,,,,
For the last 2 weeks I have been v strict in cutting back including some of ur ideas like;-
I shop online at tesco and it saves impulse buying!
I use the local butcher for meat(Cheaper by far and nicer!and i can shop there daily with no temptation to buy anything else!)
I have a new full time job starts on tues!!My first return 2 f/time after kids ...but wont enjoy wages until end april and tax credits now stopped!
Today I saved loads as I went to 'the resource centre' in cardiff (on ely bridge) they have allsorts of stuff very very cheap.
I bought wrapping paper in packets,, ex woolies/tesco /next stock 2 sheets of paper and tags for 20p!! Instead of £1.00 or £1.50!
I buy a couple of quids worth as they have so many different types and it lasts a yr or its for birthdays, weddings, christenings, kids wrap paper ,,,allsorts a real bargain,,,,,,,,check it out for paper,,craft stuff stickers,,,mcdonalds toys,, material,,packaging, folders,,paint,,furniture etc etc its a £1 for a years membership,,,they also send monthly or quarterly emails which tell u what they have been given and what they have on offer...........
Afterwards took kids a football and our packed lunch to porthkerry park bought ice cream only so cheap day out!
On Easter monday in Cardiff bay there is thing on (advertised in tonites echo on front page) FREE EASTER TREASURE TRAIL,,,,,,EVERY CORRECT ENTRY WILL WIN FREE ADMISSION TO TECHNIQUEST!!!! :T AND THE DR WHO EXHIBITION TRAILS START AT 12PM,1PM,2PM AND 3PM FROM CARDIFF VISITOR CENTRE 'THE TUBE' definitely taking my 3 for that,,,freeeeee bbbiiiee(hope we get answers right!! lol )0
