Middle of the week already! The children will be back at school before we know it.....
Let us all know what small step you are taking today towards becoming debt free. This could be something that you think doesn't make any difference but reality is that these are the things that can form good habits that in turn lead to becoming and remaining debt free!
So: yesterday I managed to stick to my grocery budget :T
Today I will be:
- sending the kids to the pictures courtesy of Orange Wednesday
- start to sort things for a car boot at the weekend
- looking for a cheaper mobile phone contract
Have a good day everyone x

Evening Y'alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Today I have...
Taken a packed lunch to work
Cooked a store cupboard tea
Bought the weekly shopping from Online Asda with a strict list (stops extra spending)
Sorted through my toiletres and all the half used bottles I have left out to use up before opening a new bottle.
Walked to work which saved £3 transport costs and gym costs.
Started cutting some pretty pictures out of old magazines to make some decoupage style Easter Cards.
Cancelled a catalouge, there is no balance outstanding on it, but while a catalouge full of lovely clothes is coming through my door there is a temptation for credit.
Studied for a work based exam which will eventually bring about promotion and a wage increase.
Have a good night peoples X x X0 -
I'm impressed BambyWamby
I might try the online shopping - I was always put off by them just throwing any old sell-by date in and I'm a bit, shall we say, obsessive :rotfl:
I might try both Asda (my fav) & Tesco (who I would like to shop at but dont have one near by) - do you manage to get discount codes too?
