Hi just wondering has anyone reached the £100 cashback limit as yet on their Aqua card? I think I have already earned around £75.
If so, are ppl going to keep it for 12 months and see if the offer is the same in year 2?

I think you need to keep it if you want to get the cashback.
It would be adviseable to spend on it now and again so the card doesn't get cancelled through dormancy and the cashback forfeited.
Pay for a sandwich at least once every 2 months, doesn't have to be much but the card should be used.
I don't believe they pay out at £100.0 -
Hi lisyloo, I was just going to keep it to one side but fair pont, need to keep using it now and again to keep it from going dormant. And yes I knew they don't just pay out at £100, do you know if they pay out in Jan/ upon 12 month anniversary?0

Up to about £30 cash back but then I have only had the card 4 days and the credit limit is £250...hard work is what I call it.I think....0

I understood it as the cashback, rounded down to the nearest £5, was paid on the anniversary of the card each year.
I'm up to around £20 cashback now so well on the way :j0 -

Yes I believe so.
So you have to keep it that long anyway. In general we think at least one transaction at least once every other month because occassionally comapnies may close cards if they are not used for 3+ months although there is no hard and fast rule on this.
I would think it would be worth spending 5 minutes checking what is on offer for year 2 before closing as you have to keep the card that long anyway.0 -
BTW - I think I am about the same level as you, but unlike many others for some reason I have received a high credit limit.
I am planning on taking out the CapitalOne 5% card shortly which should fit in nicely before Xmas.0
