Buyer location France wants item sent to Japan

Hi, I have a fairly valuable game listed on Ebay and decided to only ship to countries which participate in Airsure. (I've excluded other countries on the listing.)
The current highest bidder says located in France but has asked for shipping to Japan.
I would really appreciate any advice on how I should proceed.

only send to the address on paypal or you are not covered with paypal protection. Let the buyer know this. if they still want the item posted to japan then remove their bid and block them. you have the right to remove bids, but i think you can't do it in the last 12 hrs of the auction0

Check the buyer's bidding history and if they regularly by games I'd guess they'll bid fairly high if it's rare and if someone here can advise a secure delivery method to Japan it might be worth accommodating the buyer for the better sale price.
The buyer can change the address during eBay Checkout which will then appear on Paypal as well, this way you are covered by seller protection. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
Get a courier quote for Japan and tell the buyer how much that will be. As long as the buyer adds the delivery address to their PayPal then you are covered. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Surely you send the game to France and let the buyer send it on to Japan - their risk, their frais d'exp!dition and their reassurance of having done it themselves, in the event of any foul-up or follow-up.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Depends how much you want the custom, it's all about accommodating the customer's requirements and if they are happy to pay for secure delivery to Japan and OP packs the item very well it could end up with a happy seller getting a very decent price and a happy buyer getting their desired collectable. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
And just to add - I used to sell collectable dolls and Japan was a big market. Never had any trouble with Japanese buyers. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Thanks everyone for your advice. Turned out the address to post to in France was a friend's, so I wouldn't have got Paypal protection there either. I decided not to take the risk and the game sold for a reasonable price to someone else.0
