    I received my Andrex cheque this morning, took about 10 working days......only problem its made out to just my first name, wonder if my bank will except it?

    Have you got one of those automated paying-in machines at your bank? I use that whenever I get a cheque with a mistake on it and they always go through ok. Realistically, the bank doesn't have time to check every single cheque paid in through the machines so if you avoid an eagle eyed bank clerk you should be ok.

    I got mine today too..and they spelt my name wrong....im going to try to bank it and if that doesnt work,I guess I will email them...

    Recently received a Dr Oetker Ristorante refund cheque with the last letter of my first name omitted.

    Could this be a deliberate ploy by companies in the hope cheque's cannot be cashed and the customer doesn't bother contacting them about it?

    I have finally found the Ribena Try me Free in Tesco today, so i hope everyone gets it now:j

    Got Andrex refund as well with the name misspelled but happened before and my bank accepted easily the cheque , so i am hoping to don't be a problem this time.
