Replacement weight link chain for vertical blinds

I am sure this seems a silly question but I don't know the answer.

I washed our vertical blinds but when I was putting them up again the little hooks at the bottom of them broke. How do you work out the size of the weight link chain needed for the bottom of vertical blinds as I have seen them for sale in Ebay and Amazon? Are the links the number of wee balls or the part that keeps the blinds in place?

The number of wee balls doesn't matter (depends on manufacturer).
It's the width of the slats that's important, I bought these a couple of weeks ago 'cos mine were damaged (become brittle and snapped) 89mm / three and a half inches (if that's the width of your slats) wider ones are available

Thanks! Someone who is as confused as me (or perhaps that should be confused me) said that it was the number of balls and I thought that couldn't be correct! :eek: :rotfl:

The weight link chain arrived last week and hubby attached them so now my blinds look fine again! :j
