If you can spend nearly £2k on a TV, why are you in a Housing Association property.

My exact thoughts but then I remember the story of the union learder who was on a 6 figure salary and living in a council house Linky 3rd paragraph down

PIP can usually be configured - samsungs do the corner option by default but can switch them round and do the 50/50 split..

6 year old screen would likely just be HD Ready (at best) so any replacement is likely to be technologically superior and at a fraction of the price.. so this is quite a blessing as many would expect such a tv to be on its way out anyway!!..

Cant believe that a TV such as this was left in the same room as a plasterer, well at least not covered up!

Oh cmon, £1700 is hardly going to help them buy their own home is it ?.

Perhaps they bought a TV instead of buying a £1,700 car.........Its their business what they buy and how much....................

That wasnt what the question was about.......

I heard a good quote recently "A sign of being middle classed is when your bookcases are bigger than your television".
