Catflap into a composite door

I'm getting new front and back composite doors installed into my home along with new doubling glazing thanks to housing assosication. However, I have two cats who need to use a catflap as I am out at work all day! Is it possible to install a cat flap into a composite door? what sort of price would I be looking at to get it done? Any help would be much appreciated as I'm getting the doors fitted next week and I imagine I will have two unhappy cats if I don't get this sorted ASAP.

It is possible to fit a flap into a composite door. Ask the people installing the door to do it or at least tell them you want one of the lower panels to be replaced with a cat flap before they come.

Thanks, they won't do it as they are paid by my housing association, but now I know it can be done, I will look into getting somebody to do it once the door is installed! Do you have any idea on the kind of price and what type of trades person I would need to contact?

Errrrr.......dont think your Housing Association are going to be best pleased if you start hacking holes in their new doors are they ??

Have you got written permission from them to make holes in their new doors ???
