multiple balance transfers at diff times to same card?

hi there,

Quick question here:

I have an MBNA card with a balance previously transferred at 0% for 8 more months. I also have a barclaycard with a balance at 22%. MBNA have an offer on for 0% balance transfers for 9 months (with handling fee) when I log on to my MBNA online account.

I am able to take up this MBNA offer and transfer the balance from Barclaycard to MBNA and essentially have two 0% balances on my MBNA card with two different end dates? Or does making a second 0% transfer invalidate the first?

Many thanks if you can help!

You should be fine, but read the T&Cs of your card.

Taking up another 0% offer does not change the offer on the first one.

But - you need to be VERY careful when it comes to paying them off.

It's safer to wait until 1 day after a 0% offer ends, in these circumstances, because you can then be certain that your payment will reduce the balance which is now being charged interest.
