I am v.v. excited as I've taken a day off this week to visit IKEA for Christmas lunch and shopping with a colleague, of course this will equate to lots of spends, however this off-set is that I won't be living it large this Christmas - two house parties and one work's thing, other than that it's going to be a mellow affair:)
Get us a couple of metallic knife racks would you, ta :D.

  • Everyone at work was sulking as wanted to watch elf, had staff quoting film all day, I havent seen this film but by end of shift, felt I should. Offered to leave early to remedy situation but no one thought this was fair.

I had cheese on toast for tea as DH forgot what shift i was on and so didnt make me anything.

I completely forgot Elf was on:( although I did opt for this time to go to the retail park for the shower, and it was lovely and quiet:T

I do like cheese and toast though HDK - the veggie rogan josh was far to spicy for me so only had a very small portion.

    Only 2 sleeps until IKEA:D:D:D

I have managed to spend just over £40 in the supermarket, and have appeared to have returned with very little food:eek: I feel a scrutiny of the receipt is in order (although a few toiletries were purchased). I will have to work out how many meals I can eeek out from this shop...and the worst thing is!!!! I FORGOT to buy baking potatoes:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I seem to have spent so much lately, on Christmas presents, snow boots (hello???!!! where is the snow I was promised???!!!!), gloves, mega grocery shopping without managing to buy much food, a jacket, and the LBR needs some petrol AND I have my beloved IKEA to get to......

Why amn't (is that a word?) more like tilly or unhappy shopper or ammonite or half the peeps on here:o
