My daughter is going out tonight (much to my annoyance as she has University classes tomorrow) she has just done the whole 'should I just make my own way to town?' I said 'yes, what time are the buses?' and she did the pathetic ''I don't know' whimper. So I just lay down on my bed and told her to keep warm whilst waiting.

Of course, I will drop her off but want the wee madam to think she's about to freeze her a*s off at the bus stop tee hee:D

facing-problems-smiley-emoticon.gifNatty am shocked at you. Didn't you break her spirit while she was young :naughty:. You are way too soft (or I am a bad mother :rotfl:)

Sorry you had a pants day, well done for resisting temptation and grabbing a non-edible muffin ;).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I did keep it up right to the wire, she went to the front door and I shouted 'byeeeer' then she came back in and said that she didn't know when the bus was due. She then starting the whiney voice routine and I got up.....and told her I was away to fill a cosy hot water bottle and to keep in touch.
Her lip became all petted and trembly - it was brilliant acting on my part of course:T Then naturally the last laugh is on her as I got up and pulled my snow boots on:D even although it's still not snowing:p and ended up giving her a lift....yes folks IN MY PYJAMAS:eek:

    Will I never learn:o:o:o

I can join you here ... I managed a full day of no sugar whoop whoop :)
  • DD1 was also little ray of sunshine tonight, that and them all bickering in the car all the way back from music. Then Tiger had been in her room and ripped up one of her posters. Ended up having a bit of a shout but all calm again now (was all my fault obviously). DH at work so missed the fun. Then dd2 realises shes left her school tie at music and she will now get in trouble, so lots of tears. I was not doing an hour round trip in my PJs though!
Surely NP youve learnt your lesson???
