Debit Card payment

hi,

looking for some advice. i used my debit card to buy euros from a travel agents 2 weeks ago. they still havent took the money out

does anyone know how long they have to take it out? or is there no set time. really annoying having to make sure i keep tht amount in my account

    Anytime with the next 6 months, and a maximum of 6 years, So I would keep the money in your account to be on the safe side.

    After 6 months I don't think they can take it without your approval, but of course it's still legally payable until 6 years is up.

    Given I think it will be a PV debit. They already have it.

    If its a Visa card. If they do debit after 6 months. Technically it can be chargedback as a late presentment. So long as they use the original debit date.
    But given what the transaction was for. It possibly have required a passport at point of sale.
    Which could open up some nasty comeback to reclaim the monies owed.
