Please can someone advise me - bit of a wally with credit cards!

Hi,

I have a credit card with Bank of Scotland which is currently on a 0% transfer. However, I have spent on it and want to transfer it again to another 0% card. I applied and successfully got a Halifax card, but can't transfer my BoS as it's the same company.

I have an old Barclaycard which doesn't have any money and they are offering 6 month interest free. If I transfer my BoS to the Barclaycard, can I then transfer it again to the Halifax (which has the 18 month 0& on)?

Yes you can. Obviously you will be charged 2 transfer fees but will still save you money over the 18 months.

How long is left on the current 0% deal though? There's not much point in transferring the whole balance if there is still a fair bit of time left on the BOS 0%

And what's the BT balance?

Is there a timeframe for BTs to BoS, and are you still within it?

Chances are, if the purchase balance is small, your plan could cost you a lot of money for little or no benefit.
