Car insurance for motorcycle rider

I have had my full motorcycle license for 15 years now, 9 years NCB on it. I'm about to get my full car license.

Is there any car insurance policy out there that can give me a discount as an experienced driver despite only just passing my car test?

Are you continuing to use your motorbike or not?

Some insurers (eg DL) will allow you to move a motorbike NCD to a car but that requires you to have stopped using the bike

A discount for being experienced, NO because your not experienced.

As above maybe transfer the no claims to the car, Restricted amount of companies doing that but maybe cheaper doing that and insuring the bike with zero no claims?

Does your bike insurer also cover cars? Maybe worth a call to them?

You need to do the figures, Insure car with no claims. But beware of the terms and conditions. They may rate you the same as a 17 year old with increased excess and cannot protect the no claims due to only recently passing your test.

Dont rush into it.
