Brain ache multi car

Hi, im trying to find the best deal on multi car insurance but it is overwhelming, so much to read, so much to understand. Is it possible to overthink things ???? Anyone know of a good company that can give me a good quote ???

Hi, dont know if they are any good but I got multicar insurance from Aviva...... two cars for £320 and £80 cashback making net total £240. Their online multicar quote system is very good. You can change your policy online and reject your renewal online.
  • From what i can gather, only Admiral, Aviva and Direct Line do multi-car insurance. So worth trying each of these.

Aviva and Admiral both gave me reasonable quotes. Direct Line will not quote for multi-car online - you have to call them. However i filled in their form for one car and it was so expensive there was no point in me even ringing them for a multi-car quote. Everyone's circumstances are different though so might be worth a go.

Dont go thinking multi-car insurance is automatically cheaper. For me, it was last year. But this year two separate policies is proving to be cheaper.

Start the 1st one then add the 2nd one later. If you dont add it then they will probably increase the premiums and chase you for more money.

But multicar policies are not always cheaper.

Start the 1st one then add the 2nd one and you then get the multicar discount.

The 2nd one then runs until the 1st one reaches 12 months so they are then in sync ( if you stay for another year ).
