Refund funny feeling about it

I bought something but never got the item so I asked the seller if I could have a refund which they have done but it seems like its being done from there bank account as got to wait 5 to 7 days to get it.
So due to the problems I've had with this seller what happens if they don't have the money in there bank account or PayPal account?
Will I still get my refund and they get a - on there PayPal balance?
Just with the many problems I've had with this seller I'm a bit worried.

Have they refunded through Paypal?
If so, there is not a current credit card attached to their account / and they have no balance.
You will need to raise a claim and escalate it through the Paypal process to get buyer protection. Ensure that you do not exceeed the 45 gay rule to get this process going.
Hopefully the funds will clear to your account.0 -

For the refund i had lately, it took a few days, there should be a date on the email you got telling you when the refund will clear.0 -
if the refund has come via paypal then it could be they didn't have enough funds in their paypal so it's coming from their account. If it's an echeque it can take about 7 working days to clear.
The paypal email should give more details.
Did paypal email mark the payment as a refund or money received. A refund would be a refund from the original transaction whereas money received would be a separate payment made to you.
As kurgon said remember you have 45 days to open a paypal claim. wait the few days and see if the payment clears and if it doesn't open an INR claim0
