Getting through to the first payment.

I have recently started a part time job (if you have seen my previous threads you will know this is my first step to becoming benefit free)

As a result I have to wait 6 weeks for my first wage. I am past the cutoff earning point in the working month and will have to wait until next payday after the up and coming one.

My last benefit was taken by bills I wanted to be sorted for the long haul until payday. I am entitled to a final payment from the JC but they are telling me this could be a week or two before it is with me. Can I get a crisis loan to cover any time I have to wait or will they just say no?
