Looking at platinum purchase card.

2x existing cards total limit ~£5000, £2500 used currently (0% purchases)
4x overdrafts total limit ~£5000, £250 used (0%)
Income £27000

Soft search says 70-80% chance of acceptance.

Negatives: not living in the house I own (no mortgage), moved 6 months ago, part-time employed, and 4 searches in the last 3 months, which I believe doesn't show up on the soft search?

I would wait for searches to drop off, but I need to buy £1000 worth of goods on amazon ASAP and this offers £20 cashback + £20 voucher if applying through amazon, which is 4%.

Should I try it and what limit do you think I might get if accepted?

I would say all of the negatives you mention will make your application a hell of a lot harder, I wouldn't apply if I were you at this stage.

The searches will very much show up on the full fat search they will do after you click apply.

4 searches in 3 months will be a major negative and credit searches being the biggest killer on credit applications you'll be very lucky if they accept you IMO but you never know.

I have to agree, I wouldnt apply yet
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
