The house was on the market but, unfortunately nothing is selling over there at the moment. Having said that it can soon be put back on the market if this would help.
In short, yes.
If you are attempting to sell it, then it may be disregarded, and not affect JSA.
the other comments about working in Spain may also be worth looking at.0 -
Housing benefit is not reliant on claiming other benefits, it is only income based, not sure though if the property you have will count against you again?0

One other thing struck me. Did you say that you had a share in the property? If there are other owners and they do not wish to sell then it could also be argued that there is no value in the property if the other owners do not wish to put it back on the market.
