Argos mattress sale!!!

I'm in need of a new mattress and had a look online at the Argos mattress sale to see if I could get a decent one for a good price.
Sale is meant to be up to 60% off all mattresses.
Looked through and it looked promising.
THEN I decided to look at the mattresses I was looking at online in the catalogue.
An example is a Sealy mattress (identical mattress names etc) apparently reduced to £159.99 from £399.99.Price in current catalogue is £199!!! Small print does say 'has previously been on sale for £199'...yeah,because that's the correct price!!
Numerous other mattresses there's little if any difference in the 'sale' price and the catalogue price yet the 'normal price' on the website has one or two hundred added to it:eek::rotfl:
Now,I know places such as carpet stores often bumpy up original prices but Argos?I'm quite disgusted tbh and to do so when we can just look in the catalogue?:rotfl: Giving 'sale' items a different product number (as I've recently noticed them doing) shouldn't make a bloody difference!
So,anyone who is looking for a good price on a mattres avoidthe Argos sale,it's not what it seems!

I just wish all people where like you and can see through the gimmicks of sales.
All Sales are just marketing, giving the consumer a reason to buy. How many times to do we hear "I got it in the sale".
Does anyone buy at full price anymore? No because all shops have sales 100% of the year. I need a sofa, oh that's handy DFS have a sales on.
I need a bathroom, oh that's handy B&Q have a sale on.
It's all rubbish!Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
