Laminate floor fitting in Leicester and some Qs

Hi All
Im after having a laminate floor fitted in my lounge. Im quite happy to go and pick my own so just need it fitting really
Can anyone please give me a rough idea of the costs to get a laminate fitted.
Also what do we do about underlay. The floor that were going to have done (lounge) currently has floorboards so what sort of underlay do we need and roughly how much doesn this cost
Also does anyone know of a reasonably priced person in Leicester to fit a laminate?
Roughly how much should I expect to be paying?
Thans in advance

  • i had all down strs done

    lounge 14 x11
    kitchen 16 x 10
    dining room 11 x 10
    wc 5 x 3
and hall ( about 3 times the size of the wc lol )

had it done with oak laminate including underlay cost £790 looks really good.

we went to our local carpet store who supplied and installed. shops such as carpet right, allied ect supplied but just recommended thier rather expensive joiner. a local retailer will usually beat the prices of the larger stores.

Look at £ 10.00 per sq m with you supplying materials
  • £10.00 per square metre is about right, but it can cost more depending on what you do with the perimiter, if you have the bottoms cut from the skirtings it will cost much more than having beading fitted.

It's not difficult to DIY and will save you money-
