Thought I would post this, for those that have not seen it.

Can you imagine how the driver of this car is going to explain to Police and Insurers how they managed to crash into the upstairs of a house.
But I was only going 30 miles an hour and swerved to avoid a cat ! Looks like an accident from a Hollywood film !

The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

I would be highly surprised if it was going 30mph if the Daily Hate's article is to be believed (which of cause is highly unlikely)0

I like this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAUIIMrSByQ
Had a few highly unusual claims, it always makes me chuckle when people tell me they will never ever claim on there insurance as there's nothing that can go wrong.
Unusual unexpected things happen, it's what keeps us in work0 -

I had a very high net client who spent summer in the U.S, he shipped his £150k car over there and rang me from the airport for cover. Normally would have turned it down, but due to the size of his account had to try and get cover.
Trust me arranging modified supercar cover in the U.S for a UK registered car is very difficult and the time difference does not help. I managed to get limited third party only cover eg £50k limit per person, which being rich he was more than happy with.
He swapped cars with his neighbour for the day, his neighboor was showing the car off to his friend who decided to have a go. It was a manual and yanks are used to automatics. He started the car, revved it and proceeded to to drive it into a (Deep) lake over the road.
Luckily the type of cover the guy had covered him in any vehicle so it was eventually paid. My client threatening to break the guys legs did not go down too well with the local Sheriff as apparently he was a local war hero.0
