Redfox :A You are simply wonderful and we couldn't have gone through all the thread that we have in the last 18 months without you by our side. I am so sorry you have to be subjected to all this bull, and that is what it is, the vast majority on here have nothing but praise for you and well there are some sad little souls that feel the need to do nothing but disrupt and corrupt, PRATS! Please stay onboard xxxx

Well said Fudge_cake!! I have no idea what went on earlier but i think you are amazing Redfox for guiding us the way you do :A:A:A:A:A:A

Hiya, I'm still here :j :j Many thanks for the lovely new thread FK and great to see so many 'oldies' posting ;)

I took my sister A$da shopping today and it turned into one long laugh. All the counting and which shop it was. I went through the till first and put a W and then a S shop through, using a £12 and then a £7 APG, no problems. We were having quite a chat with the SA which got sillier and sillier as my Sister asked me 'oh, who wanted the pot of rice and who wanted the tin of custard, I've forgotten' and I said 'Johnny wanted the rice and Mam wanted the custard' and we were laughing our heads off with the SA about doing shopping for other people. As we walked away, my sis asked if the pot of rice should have been with the last shop or the middle one, and we realised that she'd put it through with her 'own' T shop. No problem I said and off we marched to the CS desk where I told the SA that my silly sister had just done my Mam's shopping using last week's list and could she return it all for a refund and start again with the right list. No problem, and lotsss more laughter, but we had to go straight off then as it was by then time to get down to see to Mam's dinner. Well, at least my sister has a ready made list for when I take her again tomorrow :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for the new thread, FK

I just caught up on the last one, still got this one to go!

I know you were trying to have a laugh with your post but from your post you quoted, you only mention the bars that work. From experience, some items will compare even though you wouldn't expect them to for example the Schwarzkopf Got2b hair products.
As you had items missing from your list, I took it as a fair assumption that you hadn't tried them all. Maybe you could add in the ones that are N/A as well to save any confusion

Really? It sure looks to me like I confirmed one that didn't ;)

you can only tell people so many times

Sorry but can I ask how many times should we tell people please? Should it be two times for coke questions and three times for cereal questions? If someone just asks about Ambrosia without saying if its W or S related should we play safe and tell them 6 times?
    :rotfl:
Been sat here for 5 hrs trying to decide what to get. I still can't decide so will have to decide while i'm at Mr A's

From the looks of things I would say you need more ammo! :rotfl:
ok so how do I PM redfox without searching the community for her name?

I see others posted their own suggestions but this is how I do it

Click on any username at all and select "send PM". When the compose window opens up I delete their name in the recipient field and start typing the name of who I really want to PM

Say you were to start typing in "redfox". After the 3rd letter has been entered it brings up an A-Z of all users that start "red". Add an "f" and it gives you all users with names starting "redf", etc. Its like predictive text for usernames. ;)

although, it should be said that usernames are case sensitive. There is a "redfox" and there is a "Redfox". We all know there is only one redfox though :T:T

  • Evening all just called in looks like i missed the party. Not in work tomorrow dd of sick so will catch up then. Thanks for the new thread fk . Good night all
  • Just been trying to catch up, have made it through the whole thread now but time for bed!! Thanks to FK for the new thread :)

I do agree that us newbies have been made to feel a bit uncomfortable - I see why with some of the qs being asked, over and over, but I have read both threads all the way through and figured out what I could from that and with my friend at work's help. Have only posted 1 or 2 questions and only 1 was answered, much later. I don't mind, but other people were asking stuff that had already been asked on the same page!!! and getting immediate answers :undecided did make me wonder if I have somehow upset the regulars

Also posted my lists but thought that was "the done thing" lol now I know it's not will not be doing it anymore.

Loving all the pics of pets - especially the rat, can't remember who's it was after catching up on 49 pages :rotfl:

    Night all :)
