thanks for the new thread FK :D

Question for Frequent if you're still online...or anyone else that can help....whats the easiest way for me to get wax crayon off painted walls (some wallpapered, others just paint on plaster) ?? not so DD2 decided to decorate this morning...done a grand job bless her...always wanted orange and green squiggles on my walls :D

it will all get painted in the near future anyway...but if my memory serves me right, when my friends DS did this on my hallway years ago, I had to gloss the walls to get rid of it, then emulsion over the top!!! I was told to coat with pva gllue then paint over...but this didnt work :(
only reached your thread so may have been said but Home Bargains sell a twin pack of Erase Away and they are great, even took permenant marker off a pine tv unit :D

I haven't bought any chickens myself, but wouldn't mind trying.
This is taken from fudge's post, so I suppose if the barcode is the same, it should work?

No chicken with that barcode at my local this evening did not try with the stocked chicken with different code
And a new pricing anomaly with thanks to acer
Butchers Selection Medium fresh whole chicken marked with a red circle label stating 2 for £7, scanning at £1.92 each

    2 x ASDA Whole Chicken MEDIUM (1.45Kg)£3.84N/A

    Barcode ending 60813

Evening.. been lurking for about 20 mins (had a night off tonight, no A and watched some TV for a change). I've posted this already but seen lots of Q's re: the chicken. It's going through the tills as £1.92 (I bought two so not sure what it charges if you just buy one but I assume it will be £1.92). It has to be the medium and it's just a plain chicken, NOT the flavoured ones saying "extra tasty/garlic & herb/etc". Mine are the same barcode as above too.

right, logging off now... g'night all.

HUGE Thankyou:T:T:T to whoever (EDIT ) SQUIGS posted pics of the Finish Dishwasher products in the last thread. My SADA had the rice for once, but the cereal aisle was raided so had to think on my feet and have loads of cleaning. Bought a few from remembering the pics so thanks !

Also bought the Cif Ocean multi purpose cleaner which compared too - I bought 3 just incase - but all was fine ! hth

Couldn't see the flash power mop anywhere though:mad: and I'd pay £9 for it :(

Jumblejack was it yourself who had the recipe for a kind of cheese dumplings?? Or dumplings that were baked in the oven?
I tried them when first posted and now cant find where i saved the recipe boooo :(

Twas me I think and then JJ tried it and liked it!!
You just make your dumplings as normal (I like parsley in mine)the either grate some cheese over the top when you put the casserole back in the oven with the lid off for the last 20 mins or so
or I like to flatten it into a thick round and place on top of the meat for about 30 mins, leaving space to expland and sprinkle cheese on the top. Then cut into wedges when it's cooked :)

Edit: Caught up and see it was JJ's lovely cheesey bread you meant.......My dumplings are very nice too though ;) :rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
