Please tell me that's right!!
Might be best to read back to the start of the thread“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Its not in anyway glitch related just something to get off my chest - I have a 15 year old daughter who is struggling with her friendship group at moment. They often go out together without asking her! She gets upset, so I get upset. I've tried suggesting she tries to make other friends, but she does have esteem problems and doesn't think anyone would want to be her friend. Weird thing is the girl who calls herself her "best" friend has invited her to go on holiday with her family!! My daughter is a gentle soul and is the one they turn to when the others fall out with each other as she would not hurt any of their feelings. I guess they use her in a way.
Sorry if I've gone off topic but wanted to get it off my chest and this was the best place I could think of.
Not sure if people have replied as I'm still playing catch up!
I have teenage children and know how you feel. Could your daughter arrange a cinema night (orange wednesdays so its half price for them all), or maybe a meal out such as pizza hut, or 10 pin bowling etc, or maybe could she have a group of friends home to watch a dvd and have some pizza there for them or the glitch sweets for them. Could you find out if there are any youth clubs in the area, the cadets/st john ambulance and the fire brigade also have groups for this age group. She would be making new friends but also learning invaluable skills such as first aid (which will look good on her CV when shes older). My daughter was in a similar position to yours and she reluctantly joined some groups outside of school and has made lots of friends who are not in school with her, however she sees them in the evenings/weekends. She has gone on day and overnight trips with the groups. Since joining the groups she has felt part of something and her self esteem has increased. She has been more confident in her own abilities and this has also helped her within school, her friends from school now include her more, though at times she has to say no as shes arranged something with her 'new' friends. Hope things improve soon!0 -

Helena3kids wrote: »Oh dear.... I've just got an APG for £33  and a bit anxious about using it.
It's from a battery shop I did yesterday - just be aware if you're planning on doing one, the large price difference gives a huge return.
I like to keep mine below £15 if I can, but have had up to £18, but never one this big.
Having said that, I've never been trouted, so am hoping my luck with this will continue...
Happy shopping!
dont worry I used a £34 yesterday without any problems a bit of banter with the SA helps0 -

Probably a lot more blokes than we realise - some people work in ver heavy disguise :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. My opinion, for what it's worth:
A couple of weeks ago I called Henlans to task for making a fuss instore and calling attention to himself. He shot me down. Since then he has consistently raised his profile even higher - for him , the joy is not in saving money but in 'getting one over on Asda'.
His sole saving grace has been his willingness to take a chance on each new glitch, from which he has shared his results and we have benefitted. But IMO that has been outweighed by his unpleasant attitude, his bragging, and his rudeness to several people, FK, Lesleysanderson and LadyLeenie in particular.
He has shared nothing of himself. I know nothing of his family, their news, his hopes and dreams, any of it. He is simply not interested in anything apart from screwing Asda over, and he expressed that himself with the words 'when this glitch is over, I'll still be here, watching for the next deal'. Not 'I'll still be here, with you lot, talking tripe and doing quizzes and being friends'. It's not about that for him.
Therefore I for one will welcome the end of the glitch because all the people who are only on this thread seeking APG info will disperse.
In the meantime, my intent is to not mention the APG any further except in the subject of wombling, and to not respond to any further APG talk. If I can find the ignore function, I'll be utilising it.
Now, for the serious business:
3dogs, look after yourself. Every day is a blessing.
Fairclaire - glad to hear things are ticking along. Thinking of you.
Snap Ant & Fourp - hope things are ok with you.
Welcome home Westy, please drag HC in here (by the **lls if necessary).
ETA: Oh and well done Mrs Bartolozzi, I'm languishing in second place on the quiz thanks to your speedy mouse finger!
So if Henlans shared more of his personal life nobody would dislike his big shops and the fact he his hammering this glitch? Seems a bit weird to me.
At least he is posting and helping others, for every henlans I bet there are many other lurkers doing exactly the same but you'll never get to know of them. The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.0 -
1) Discussion about babypoo
2) Discussion about sweets /drinks we had in the 70's that aren't around anymore
3) A virtual fight
4) Pictures of a red monkey
Is this a typical Friday night on this thread ?
Very much so. It also bores the lurkers and anyone from the dark side and then they wonder off somewhere else and then we go back to discussing shopping :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
