My opinion, for what it's worth:

A couple of weeks ago I called Henlans to task for making a fuss instore and calling attention to himself. He shot me down. Since then he has consistently raised his profile even higher - for him , the joy is not in saving money but in 'getting one over on Asda'.

His sole saving grace has been his willingness to take a chance on each new glitch, from which he has shared his results and we have benefitted. But IMO that has been outweighed by his unpleasant attitude, his bragging, and his rudeness to several people, FK, Lesleysanderson and LadyLeenie in particular.

He has shared nothing of himself. I know nothing of his family, their news, his hopes and dreams, any of it. He is simply not interested in anything apart from screwing Asda over, and he expressed that himself with the words 'when this glitch is over, I'll still be here, watching for the next deal'. Not 'I'll still be here, with you lot, talking tripe and doing quizzes and being friends'. It's not about that for him.

Therefore I for one will welcome the end of the glitch because all the people who are only on this thread seeking APG info will disperse.

In the meantime, my intent is to not mention the APG any further except in the subject of wombling, and to not respond to any further APG talk. If I can find the ignore function, I'll be utilising it.

    Now, for the serious business:

3dogs, look after yourself. Every day is a blessing.
Fairclaire - glad to hear things are ticking along. Thinking of you.
Snap Ant & Fourp - hope things are ok with you.
Welcome home Westy, please drag HC in here (by the **lls if necessary).

ETA: Oh and well done Mrs Bartolozzi, I'm languishing in second place on the quiz thanks to your speedy mouse finger!
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

Has any-body confirmed the glitch is still on!?!?

    thanks

It might be worth reading every message in the thread or waiting until later today or tommorow to see if shops from this morning are working

    Morning guys,
Just logged in to have a quick catchup and now wish I hadn't. :(

As someone who has seen this thread evolve , it saddens me to see the extreme attitude of a tiny minority.

Ironically though, it is this small minority which is giving all the users of this thread a bad name. One member is revelling in this attention though and is encouraging it.

I don't want to be tarred with the same brush so am making this my last post on this thread.

I hope it gets back to normal but am certain it won't.

Despite members new and old trying desperately to do so, it is now the personal platform of one user.

I wish everyone all the best.

    JJ x

JJ, I forbid you to leave! I would miss you if you go. Please stay. You are a very valued member of this thread. xx

JJ, please continue to post. My DD goes full time in reception from the end of next week and on my to do list was to look up the recipies you have posted and start a list of things to try myself. I am having a lovely new kitchen and utility room fitted in my house at the moment and I had visions of becoming a domestic godess in the kitchen, like yourself. You are a inspiration to many and a very valued source of information. Please stay and keep us company xx

  • I think I've spotted a glitch A v T for the big 360g boxes of Maltesers, perhaps someone could tell me if I've worked it out correctly as I can't get to a store till tomorrow.

Tesco have a 2 for £6 ( normally £4.58 each) on the Maltesers ending 25th Step

They also have a separate promo running on Heinz 200g smaller cans things like Mac Cheese, Ravioli, Spag Boll etc. This promo is 4 for £2 (normally 70p each) and also ends 25th Sep.

If I've understood this corectly if you bought 1 Heinz can and 3 Maltesers wouldn't it trip (obviously you need the fillers to make up the required minimum numbers)?

If I've done this wrong could someone please explain why.

    Thanks in advance.

My understanding of the glitches is that they work when the number of items in the offer is the same (e.g. all W deals are in 3's). therefore, its possible that this Maltesers deal would work with other T deals in 2's e.g. it could work with the Galaxy bars. I'm off to a small A's later so not sure if they'll have these bigger boxes but i'll give it a try if i can
