Morning all, hoping to get to Asda today, haven't been since last weekend!!
  • Magicowen - I feel for you, I really do. It is not right when someone puts a rod through the family like that, especially ditching stuff without telling anyone. When my gran died there was so many things that reminded me of her, so many things she said she would leave me in her will because I adored them as a kid. I never knew if she left a will, all I knew was when my dad told me he had had the house cleared and got the grand sum of £30 :mad: Everything lost forever. They had been given the house to live in until they died, the people that were meant to be taking it over after told me and my dad they would wait as long as it took so I had arranged to get there the following weekend, but my father would not wait :mad: Just glad you managed ot salvage something and hope the rift in the family does not go too deep.

Hugs for you and all that need them :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

    Morning guys,
Just logged in to have a quick catchup and now wish I hadn't. :(

As someone who has seen this thread evolve , it saddens me to see the extreme attitude of a tiny minority.

Ironically though, it is this small minority which is giving all the users of this thread a bad name. One member is revelling in this attention though and is encouraging it.

I don't want to be tarred with the same brush so am making this my last post on this thread.

I hope it gets back to normal but am certain it won't.

Despite members new and old trying desperately to do so, it is now the personal platform of one user.

I wish everyone all the best.

    JJ x

Oh JJ please reconsider. When APG finishes I am sure order will be returned. I have always enjoyed your posts and will miss you.

Don't normally venture round these parts. Too much to try and keep up with. But hopefully a good place to ask.

Doing my usual Friday evening shop at Asda. While waiting on self service for an assistant to process an APG voucher I noticed a receipt on the next till along. I don't normally take much notice as they only seem to have a couple of items on them, but this one had about a dozen items. Stuck it in my bag as my good deed for the day. (the assistant was rushed off her feet so didn't need to go around picking up rubbish)

Pleasantly surprised when I checked it this morning.

    (Asda / Waitrose)

    1 x ASDA Chosen by You Bran Flakes (500g) £1.34 £0.96
    1 x Johnson's Baby Shampoo (300ml) £1.00 £0.97
    1 x Kellogg's Coco Pops Cereal & Milk Snack Bars (6x20... £1.00 £0.97

Only a £1.28 voucher, but no point wasting it.

So I wondered, How common (and profitable) is wombling at Asda?

Not as common as I would like it to be - my store keeps the carpark area very clean. I certainly do my bit to help by tidying up any receipts that they miss!

Well I logged on last night from my phone at about 11pm. I wish I hadn't. Instead of arguing amongst yourselves, just ignore the antagonizer. This thread will close, then where will we go for the support some of us need.:(
