Too many direct links to this thread floating about now. I suggest time to close and open up a new one and stop even more lurkers
Was that a dig at lurkers? lol:rotfl::rotfl:There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.

he did the same with the wine and chocs but it got slated because the HDUKers couldnt be bothered with counting to three and doing apgs, they seem to be more or the 'lightweight immediate gratification bargain hunters' rather than the 'MSEr wombling workhorses' ! (also it was voted cold to keep it off the main board as well I believe)0 -

Evening Elite....
Not been on for a few days as have been busy with other stuff
Finally caught up and did a test battery shop (I hope it is vs Waitrose or I'm in the dog house).
Anyway this will make you laugh.... done a shop for a family get together tomorrow which was about £40ish and thought I'd use my £22 APG......
SA says sorry I can't accept this. I question why and she says it's the wrong one.... I take a look puzzled and turns out I only had the wrong fricking receipt DOH!!!!
Funny part is she says do you have another voucher and voila I pull out my sparesie of £11.... she laughed and wished me a good evening
Will update results later.... (new thread please)

NI folk, which is the best store for non-groceries within reason? I tried the Living store but didn't get much time to look. I fancy a drive and I remember someone saying they got an iPad but I think that was a mainland store. Do any of our stores carry iPads or similar? Tried Westie, Ards, Bangor & D'donald but running out of ideas for what to buy bar glitches!
Please & thank you obviously
Junction 1 might be your best bet, not saying that they've much more than the others but why don't you go to your closest branch and get CS to phone and see if junction 1 have the iPad? I know they have a bit more variety and it's a nice store with helpful staff. Either that or buy something 'that's not right' like I was told by the SA there and take it back for a refund onto a gift card? The CS SA was very helpful in that matter but I just decided to buy anything to get rid of the APG.
