    Hi Bestprice

If i may ask, did you use a trigger with this shop?

    Thanks:)

No I didn't. It is just a comparison. No glitches unfortunnately:(

I might get lucky and find one some day;)

tbw - Sorry to hear you had such a horrible experience. In this case it doesn't sound like it would have made any difference, but it might have been easier to stay under the radar if you didn't use 2 large vouchers at the same till.

If I absolutely have to do 2 shops in 1 day, I put one in the car, then go back to a different till.

I know what you mean - but in this store it wouldn't have made any difference. They really have very little idea of how the scheme operates and I was told that they make a very detailed inspection of anything over £6/£7 as they don't think it is possible to get higher values legitimately. They also gave me the 'same barcode so they must be copies...' tale. I wasn't going to use a higher value voucher on the second shop - was going to use one for just over £5 plus an Asda gift card and some LV's. However, they were so perishing arsey with me over the first one, that I decided to front it out with another bigger one. I know I shouldn't have made a poor situation worse but they really did put my back right up. I have used upper teens value vouchers before in other stores and had no problems at all - the staff knew how the system worked and knew what to check in a civilised, customer friendly manner - so I was taken aback by the ill feeling.

I suppose that I should have been prepared for it given the real unpleasantness that some others have had to put up with. I can live with the hassle and don't mind having to stand my ground - considering the amazing benifits it is worth it. I don't think I will bother going back and demanding a £2 gift card for the 15p overcharge on one item though - didn't notice that until I got home:rotfl:.
