Its not in anyway glitch related just something to get off my chest - I have a 15 year old daughter who is struggling with her friendship group at moment. They often go out together without asking her! She gets upset, so I get upset. I've tried suggesting she tries to make other friends, but she does have esteem problems and doesn't think anyone would want to be her friend. Weird thing is the girl who calls herself her "best" friend has invited her to go on holiday with her family!! My daughter is a gentle soul and is the one they turn to when the others fall out with each other as she would not hurt any of their feelings. I guess they use her in a way.
Sorry if I've gone off topic but wanted to get it off my chest and this was the best place I could think of.I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -

why are peeps posting or quoting extra large pictures, foxy warned us before about this and i hope she deletes the lot of them.:mad:0

Well decided to 'man' up and phoned Asda about my missing e-voucher. 20 minutes to get through  and first guy tried to say it doesn't show up in My Account and is only available when I try to check out my next order  but eventually got put through to somebody on APG team and he said he'd update some spreadsheet (can't believe it's so primitive
) and I'd get it by Wed.
So all sorted hopefully, and thank you Budgie for your encouragement. Not sure I could do that again though - 40 minutes in total on the phone!0 -

Well I am anyway, poor Dad he had his bladder operation booked for next Wednesday and he spent yesterday at the hospital with a nurse explaining how his operation will be done and about the bags he will have etc.
He then went today for tests and was booked in on Monday for more tests and then the District nurse was booked to give him an enemma etc on Tuesday.
The hospital have just rang about an hour or so ago to say that his operation is cancelled as they need to have a camera to look at his bowel first.
He previously had bowel cancer and had some of his bowel removed they now need some for this bladder operation so need to check how much he has?
Its just so upsetting, with cancer it needs to be done asap as his chemo didn't work and the cancer had grown.
Poor thing was all set for his op.
Sorry but I just need a moan. I may moan again, please put me on ignore if you like.
Budgie xxx
Of course you can have a moan - they must have a reason for doing this - hopefully it will be rescheduled soonAs a mum of two daughters, both of whom are no longer teenagers, all I would say is that girls around that age can be best friends one minute, dropped like a hot potato the next, and the following week back to being best buddies.......and especially when boys, clothes, disco's etc come into the equation;)
Your daughter is obviously part of the gang if she's the one they all turn to when there's any trouble.....and is first choice when it comes to going on holiday......so she's obviously doing something right
Maybe she could suggest going somewhere first rather than wait to be asked?? Teenage girls can be really nasty sometimes...and whilst it's a real shame your daughter is getting upset I would try not to get too involved.....they have their little fall outs then make up and are best friends again whilst you are still upset on their behalf!!
She sounds lovely and I'm sure she'd soon find some nicer friends if her present ones don't appreciate her

I was expecting maybe 30 thanks or so but when I got in from A'sover 90!
I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew
I know things are tight at the moment that's why I feel 50p per download would be fair. (You aint heard Mad wailing like a cat:D)
It's not me raising the money it's you!!!
You would hopefully be the donators, unlike a certain supermarket with their donate £1 voucher that actually sticks a quid on your bill  so they can say oooh look what we have raised
Anyhoo, I shall stop right there, you truly are the Elite :A
Great - looking forward to hearing you sing0 -

Apparently it's not over-large on some people's screen though, so maybe they don't realise what they are doing?0 -
heynonnynonny wrote: »Had a lovely email from CS informing me that stores need to accept apgs when presented with a receipt, end of, and that there is no scam going on regarding them. Glad I had that one cleared up!!
I had my first trouting todaay - did a double shop using vouchers for around£16/£17 on each. SA apologised that she had to get authorisation and called the Supervisor. She held me (and a long queue) up for around 10 minutes and then came back with a face like thunder, plonked the voucher down and said it could be put through but that she had 'written all the details down so she could sort out with HQ). No apology or anything. Unfortunately she had shot off too quickly ignoring my suggestion that she should take my second voucher with her and check that as well to save time so she was less than impressed when she had to come back again!
Transaction suspended and me and shopping carted off to CS. Nobody there had much idea of how the system worked or how to check my voucher - so it was inputted wrongly 3 times and the CS then insisted that the details didn't match and iI couldn't use it. All a bit embarrassig given that there were at least 5 other people queuing at CS and the staff behaved as though I had fiddled the voucher details. Took half an hour to get it sorted and , very grudgingly, my voucher as finally taken.
This is the first time I've had any problems at all - suppose it was too good to last - and I was not best plesed to be held up for so long and given the third degree. I phoned HQ when I got home and they said that they are well aware that the APG scheme is acting up and giving good returns but that it is their faut and that customer vouchers MUST be accepted and that customers should not have any hassle from staff. Re-training promised and I have requested a letter from HQ confirming its all legit. I shall make a point of going out of my way to go back to that store and using a couple of biggish vouchers once I have the letter. I don't mind them checking vouchers carefully but I object to rudeness.
Incidentally, this was the Penryn/Falmouth store in Cornwall.ELITE 5:2

Good evening everyone.
I am please to report that Boots have added 750 points to my advantage card after I made a complaint about being continually trouted by a certain member of staff. She is going to receive some "retraining" :rotfl: Honestly if you don't want to be nice to customers don't work in customer service! Lots of other people would gladly take her job.
Alo just popped on here to ask the resident Duvet Queens (you know who you are) about any bargain single duver cover sets, must be 100% cotton, plain or retro red/blue pattern, for DSs room pretty please.:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

Well my printer is well and truly dead, it refuses to grip paper now despite OH twiddling with the innards ...
My 2 shops yesterday were nearly perfect
I remembered the rule of at least 8 different
I remembered the right fillers
I remembered the rule of 3
I stuck to the lists like glue
Also my make- up- the- numbers items were ones I actually needed like pots, stew sauce suet for dupplings so well pleased.
Also downloaded the Asda ap so I sent my vouchers to OH to print off. Its annoying that you catn see the comparisons lists on the app.
One item did not come out quite right. I got 3 wines 1st time in about 3 weeks and I seemed to think one rose and 2 red - is this correct?
1 x Vina Albali Rosado Tempranillo (750ml)£5.98£4.00
2 x Vina Albali Smooth Red Tempranillo (750ml)£11.96£8.00The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0
