Actually its a baby bath. Washing up bowl indeed...pfft.

He caught us off guard with his early arrival. We'd arranged to get a moses basket from a friend, but hadn't managed to get over there to get it. Which is where the other half has gone to today. Then all we will need is a new matress and he's sorted.

The little man likes sleeping flat and whilst we were in hospital was use to sleeping in one of their plastic 'washing up bowls'. So he's perfectly happy and content in there.

Seems daft and silly, but it works. He can't exactly go anywhere.

Mine was in a wicker linen basket until I bought a Moses basket! Wasn't much difference between the two!

oh thank you, mine are looking a bit straggly now so ready to dig up :) Any tips on drying please?

i hang mine to dry. i tie the stems on a string and hang them in the wood store so the air can circulate round them. any soft or damaged i use first the rest i keep for the winter..

Yup I know I disappeared for the last week. But I have a great excuse.....and he's sleeping upstairs in his cot.

Zac Edward was born on 14th September at 12:48am weighing 6lbs 13oz. Labour was amazingly fast. Medically it was only 1 hour. But it was only 4 hours between waters going and having my little man in my arms.

Was kept in so long because of some medical concerns, but am home at last and all is going well.

Once again I didn't expect the birth for a good few weeks....and then he decides to come early. I will sort a pic out....but for now they're all on my camera and I have things all over the place.

Note: If someone would kindly fill me in on the current glitches I'd be very grateful. I'd imagine I have hundreds of posts to try and get through.

Well congratulations mummy on a superb job bringing little Zac into the world. You did a stirling job :j

My number 3 is also called Zac (Zachary William) and a bloomin' good name we think!

Thanks to someone on here sorry can't remember who for suggesting using the 5 beans in spaghetti Bol. Thought I was the only one in our house who liked them but blended into a Bol sauce they went down a treat. Fussy ds even commented it was nicer than other sauce and cleaned his plate. Of course I didn't tell him the secret ingreadient lol x
