Tonight's dinner was the infamous mushy pea curry - although, like most of my meals, adapted to incorporate more vegetables :)

I'm good thanks - hope ur all ok - just seen your posts as been busy shopping a lot lately :) I'm mum to 6 gorgeous children now and taken 15 months out from my office as currently on maternity leave, (little Welshy is 10 months old). Miss the old moc / points days but always looking for the next bargain ......

I dearly miss the old points days and dream of h&b points vouchers, would love them to feature in one of Ts marketing campaigns - those were the days.:)

    Hi All

Went back into ch@rlton sada today and used the voucher they refused yesterday. SV went into the office and came back with a fistfull of photocopied vouchers.

She told the SA to accept my voucher and wanted my opinion on the vouchers she had!

All of sudden I am the apg voucher connsultant to sada ch@rlton !
She had several vouchers lower than £9.99 that the last 3 numbers of the barcode correspond to the voucher value. And some above £10 that have a generic bar code.

I explained to her that sada management have probably come up with the idea of a generic barcode for higher value vouchers to ensure that staff check them properly.

I took the chance to go on at her a bit , do some staff training... Well someone has too..

I said if she is suspicious of a voucher to politley ask the customer to wait and then call sada CS to check the validity of the voucher and then base her response on what her own CS say. Not on a knee jerk reaction.

I think it sank in but cant be too sure.

Tried a different sada in Bexl3yh3ath , what a nice suprise , the SA smiled.wow. and they had the 3kg IAMS...

    Hi Macawber,

that is my local - nice to have a local mser around. Yes they are very nice in there, I have never had any trouble (hope I havent jinxed it now)

  • I just wanted to say that this thread has gone a little bit schoolyard tonight, which is a shame....
As it's a public space, anyone should be able to post anything (within rules and regs) yet Mandyxapa has been slated by several members. I don't know who he/she is or if he/she is genuine, as I don't know who any of you are but are all given the benefit of the doubt. I do see why the comments made got some posters backs up, and as a newbie too, I feel like I should help out regardless of wether he/she is in the right.
I also noticed a comment about Henlans but he/she was immediately defended. I appreciate Henlans is a regular member, and in my opinion an invaluable poster, but he/she was once a newbie too....
I'm off to bed in the hope that tomorrow's posts will be much more friendly.
