Hi All

Went back into ch@rlton sada today and used the voucher they refused yesterday. SV went into the office and came back with a fistfull of photocopied vouchers.

She told the SA to accept my voucher and wanted my opinion on the vouchers she had!

All of sudden I am the apg voucher connsultant to sada ch@rlton !
She had several vouchers lower than £9.99 that the last 3 numbers of the barcode correspond to the voucher value. And some above £10 that have a generic bar code.

I explained to her that sada management have probably come up with the idea of a generic barcode for higher value vouchers to ensure that staff check them properly.

I took the chance to go on at her a bit , do some staff training... Well someone has too..

I said if she is suspicious of a voucher to politley ask the customer to wait and then call sada CS to check the validity of the voucher and then base her response on what her own CS say. Not on a knee jerk reaction.

I think it sank in but cant be too sure.

Tried a different sada in Bexl3yh3ath , what a nice suprise , the SA smiled.wow. and they had the 3kg IAMS...

woo hoo :T:T:Twell done:T:T:T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi, wonder if anyone can help - am on holiday this week so able to get to A for a change - in all the excitement i made classic mistake and forgot to count up amount of APGs, so now i have exceeded £100 - have tried the thing using google chrome, using another laptop, using DH email addie, but to no avail! - anyone got any ideas how i can claim the last voucher? many thanks if you can help! ss

Someone said if you change the seconds on the time when you enter the voucher and obviously change the email addie etc it should pop out.

Is that why he is buying loads of that cif for stainless steel - and there was me thinking it was for his counters!!!

Had a few laughs this evening, thanks guys! :T
For those doing a cleaning 'shop' can highly recommend the Bar Keepers Friend. Tried it on some wine glasses that looked a bit worn and now they look like new!

Also, Honey Shreddies are comparing. Didn't see them on Henlans list. Don't know the size, but they are £2.68. Also Jeyes Fluid £3.4X size.

Oh yes! Thank you, hadn't thought of stocking up with that, but yes, now on the next list!

Tricia89~what excellent news re Leos weight loss! I'm sure you'll both be so proud of your achievement when you next go to the GP. You knew you are a good mum, and this proves it!

Evening all

Just to let you northerners know,,,used a couple of £11 xx apgs at Gat3s4ead M3troc3ntre without any trouble today. No sv called or anything.

I didn't do another glitch shop but did notice there was plenty of triggers about!

On a different note I have to say that if it's human nature to batter the hell out of any glitch that comes along I mustn't be human:j

I have participated in this glitch and did the DTD last year but I like to think I've always used moderation and I think that's the key to success personally.

hope you're all having a good evening

hello thats my local, never had any bother in there either spent up to a £14. apg not an eye lid blinked, but i do get the feeling that they are watching me:eek::rotfl:
• Hi All,

I'm taking the 'newbie' plunge and finally posting... A friend of mine pointed me in your direction a short while ago. Since then I've been doing lots and lots and lots of research.
I have done two shops which I messed up and put down to experience and one which produced a modest, yet satisfying apg.
Especially given that my husband has been made redundant and I've been told to shop at a certain supermarket to save money!
Now I have finally cracked it and have lots of cereal and cleaning products. Off to get some chocolate and wine tomorrow for the weekend!!

THANK YOU ALL who provide lists, guidance and general words of wisdom.

I made a gorgeous lamb casserole today, with the A's smart price lamb stewing pack. It was about £2.60, and will make 5 portions. Shoved it in a casserole with SP toms, carrots, swede, celery, onion, leek, pearl barley, lamb stock cubes, marmite, paprika, garlic and worcestershire sauce -cooked about 170 for 3 hours ....and YUMMY!

mmm I can smell it from Wales. I'll have a look at the SP stewing pack as I use a lot of lamb. I made a lamb cawl last week it was lush :D

It really really saddens me to read this thread.
Why do I read it?
Because it was a warm friendly thread & I read to try & catch up with my cyber friends here.
Now I don't recognise it - it's become a thread of trolls, bullies, braggers & 'who can shout the loudest & longest'

With you there, Snap :(

Thankfully a lot of the newbies are adding their own little sparkle to what is already a lovely community but I am hating all of this blatant, in your face, get what you can and make as much profit as possible, attitude. :(

Most folk are just getting a little extra to stretch their budget and to allow themselves luxuries they would never otherwise be able to afford.
I am happy to not be using my usual tesco value shampoo and having a break from tesco value wheat biscuits for breakfast and this is echoed by the majority.

I know I will probably be shot down in flames as was purdita but hey, we can all have our say.

Hope you and fourp are well?
