Was in T's and overheard two big wigs from he store talking about the 'big night in' BOGOF chocs and tubes, none of it was going through right and they were folding that part of every label over so all you could see was the price.
Sorry if it's already been posted but HTHSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

MAJOR TROUTED TODAY!
Tried out a store near my work in D*rby with a £2*.** voucher. SS said they need to check vouchers over £10, supervisor came over and said this isn't possible, had a quiet word to the SS and I overheard her mention "it looks like this is fraud, suspend the shop".........
Waited over at the side for 15 minutes back and forth, saying they'll be another 2 mins about 4 times....finally came back and the supervisor said they had rung through to Asda house, they know of the problem and there is a glitch with mysupermarket where it doesn't compare the items so you get it for free.....I told her this wasn't the case, and she then mentioned that they were also amazed that I can get the voucher today as you need to wait 24 hours......I mentioned again this wasn't the case!!
She said it will be put through this time only but no further shops were allowed with vouchers of iover £10. I then started getting annoyed by this and said "does that mean I can't come back and shop with you tomorrow, I find that vitimisation when all i've tried to do is do a standard shop and use a voucher". She paused and said if I want to come in tomorrow, come and see her directly and she'll "see what she can do....."
Going to go back tomorrow now just to prove a point!!!!! Complaint also going off to ASDA head office on this one.

Newbie here...
I've been lurking for quite a while and decided to post about a couple of things
First of all, I can't help but notice a LOT of other newbies post questions and expect to get an answer immediately, when they could read back through a few posts and the answer would hit them in the face! Do as I have done - read, re-read and write down. That way you can save your money yourself, only blame yourself if you muck-up and leave everyone else to chat.
Secondly a lot of those asking questions, and getting answers don't bother to report success/failure so as to warn/help others - Play fair!
Lastly, but most importantly, thanks to those of you who've taken the time to help me.:T:T
Excellent 1st post, you'll fit in here very well:D
American_Pie wrote: »Hi Everyone,
A couple of days ago I stumbled across this thread for the first time in ages and thought I would pop in to catch up. Then I started reading about the SADA glitch!! So, I spent 2 days reading as much as I could and taking notes. Last night I finally felt brave enough to make my first trip to SADA. I was very nervous and kept counting everything in my trolley over and over. Anyone watching me must have thought I was a nutter! Anyway, I checked my results this morning and have managed 3 successful shops, so wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone that has posted. I can't believe how pleased I am with myself! And it just goes to show, all the info is there if you take the time to look for it!:D:D
Well done American pie, congrats on your shops and good job on all the swatting up. Perfect newbie award goes to you today :TLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -
Decided to buy a Flash mop with one of my APGs last night, and a couple of refill pads and liquid. I have just tested it on my hall, lounge, dining room and kitchen floors, it was great, easy and they are now fresh smelling and sparkling, however being a devoted money saver I am shocked that I went through two pads and a good chunk of the tester bottle detergent just doing this. At normal prices that is 78p worth of pads and about 77p worth of fluid. That is about £1.55 to mop the downstairs of my house, if I did this everyday would cost me a tenner a week. Now that is not very money saving. Think I will be stocking up on solution and pads now and using it as a one off treat.£2015 in 2015 (Although actual goal is £10 a day)0
