  • Can we have our thread back again please????

I have a question for the cake makers out there....I need to try and get a "slightly taller than a shot glass but same shape" cake tin/mould

Does anyone know where I can get one from please?

M's (the other sm's might do as well) do a tin of tomato puree that is similar but slightly taller about 22p each, you could use those. I've used them for mini christmas cakes. HTH

anyone else noticed how long these lovely expensive cleaning products last?.......if you keep them under the sink

I'm not sure about specific ones but I am using loads from the tesco glitch last year, so they are ok for atleast 18 months and I would say probably longer.
  • "our thread" was a lovely place, where there was no topic, we gave advice on anything, cookery, husbands,ex husband, wifes, and we gave love support to all who needed it. we watched and waited when "due" babies were late, and we all love the ramblings of our children flying the nest and leaving for uni. we also chuck in a bit about shopping. we gave cyber hugs to those bereaved or poorly or those who just needed a hug.that was "our thread"

Thanks MMW, Sounds like a wonderful place :D and also one i'd have a chance at keeping up with lol x

    Hi all:hello:
    Newbie here...
I've been lurking for quite a while and decided to post about a couple of things
First of all, I can't help but notice a LOT of other newbies post questions and expect to get an answer immediately, when they could read back through a few posts and the answer would hit them in the face! Do as I have done - read, re-read and write down. That way you can save your money yourself, only blame yourself if you muck-up and leave everyone else to chat.
Secondly a lot of those asking questions, and getting answers don't bother to report success/failure so as to warn/help others - Play fair!
Lastly, but most importantly, thanks to those of you who've taken the time to help me.:T:T

Well done and welcome, do ya wanna join my harem!!;):D

i wonder if Artha still lurks , i hope he's well and still merrily plucking on his banjo , he can be reassured he's not forgotten .

a big Hi to OB as well and all the others MIA .

the only way this thread will return to normal is for the "regulars" to stop sulking and start posting, not flash mob style but just usual posting:D

Hi Artha if you're still around:cool:

If doing a T's pizza meal deal don't buy the mint and chocolate haagan dazs, it doesn't compare

says out of stock at sainsbobs on msm :(

I'm not a big fan of the CT pizzas but must admit the takeaway Cheese ones were ok(ish) if you add a grate or 2 of your own cheese on top ,saying that the HD ice creams for pudding make up for it .

cheers for the heads up on the mint ice cream , Trouty .

ps ...good win against the Millwall .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .
