    I always do if I'm worried about critters. Blackberries are terrible for them even after a salty soak :eek:

    Now raspberries or strawberries I would never strain. What a waste.

    Also the bramleys were just roughly chopped, skin and all in the jam so it was easy peasy to prep late last night. Obviously it had to be strained clear afterwards. :)
