just wondered if anyone has already been through this minefield regarding maternity benefits? wont be able to get smp but not sure how maternity allowance is calculated?

im not a supply teacher but im pretty sure how ma works is if you qualify you get 39 weeks at approx £135 per week where as with smp you get first 6 weeks at 90% ur gross or £135 whichever is higher then 33 weeks at approx £1350
