Quick question......
Do you paint coving in matt paint (like the walls and ceiling) or in satin (like the skirting and doorframe)?
P.S. I'm guessing matt but thought I'd check.

If it is unpainted, then I'd use a coat of white acrylic primer such as Zinsser 123 first, assuming it is paper coated plaster.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0
