change in income details tax credit

Hi all,

Was just wondering if anybody had recently had any change's with tax credit if so how long did you wait?

I have had an income change and am worried now that i will lose some of my tax credits so am waiting for a new award to find out how its worked out.
The person i spoke to said i should hear off them within the next week

Hi, more info will be needed about your change in pay. Tax credits are not affected unless the pay change is significant enough, see here:

Hi,
Its only gone up by under a 1000 it was just when they said it would be recalculated and i would receive a new award notice soon x

If it's only gone up by £1000 from last year's income, then although you'll get a new award notice, what you receive won't change this year, because the increase will be disregarded. It's only next year that you'll see a difference in what you receive.
