Chinese Lantern Plants

I have a lot of chinese lantern plants in the garden and I was wondering how to dry them for indoors over the Winter. Is is just as simple as cutting them and bringing them inside to dry.

I grew these last year. I just waited until the lanterns turned orange on the plant (and felt 'crisp') and then picked them and put in a dish with other dried flowers.0
