2002 Honda Accord Alarm Problem
Morning,
I am having an issue with my alarm.
A couple of weeks ago I started preparing my car for sale as it has been replaced by a company car.
The battery was flat so I charged it up and got it going. The alarm kept going off for a few minutes then stopped and the car was working fine (key fob and key both working).
I went away for work last week and left the car on the drive. Yesterday I went to clean and finish the car for sale and the car alarm went off. Unlike before it will not deactivate.
I changed the battery in the key fob hoping that this was the reason it would not deactivate but still it wont stop.
I have today contacted several car alarm specialists who said the car will need to go to a Honda dealership (not very convinient as nearest is 40 mins away and with the alarm going off, blinkers and horn, I am sure the police wont approve).
When I contacted a Honda garage they did not know what the issue was or if they could fix it.
Does anyone have any ideas I could try?

siren battery needs replacing if it has one.
£300 and you can have the alarm disconnected and a proper alarm like toad or a clifford fitted0
