Pet insurance, instant cover?

Hi everyone,
we were in some financial difficulty a couple of years ago and had to cancel our dog insurance. Stupidly I completely forgot to re-instate it and now my dog is really ill. I think he has swallowed something and we are off to the vets tonight.
We are still haveing loads of money problems and can't afford to have him treated, I was wondering if there was an insurance policy that provides instant cover? I know most exclude treatments in the first couple of week, but I was hoping there would be one that provides instant cover.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks in advance

I don't know of anyone who does this tbh.
Can you have a word with the vet and see if they will let you pay monthly?First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
They all have a period at the start to prevent people in your situation taking out cover to claim.
If you're on a low income / benefits you may be able to get free or reduced vet fees via the http://www.pdsa.org.uk/ You'll probably need to get your pet treated by one of their own vets.
If you use them, don't forget to send them a donation, once you can afford to0
