Travel Insurance with MS

My parents need to find some travel insurance for going abroad in 26 days time and I thought I would ask on here see if anyone knew the best place to get that from if you have experience with getting insurance with MS (I have already Googled around just looking for advice)
My mum has recently been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis so they would need travel insurance that took this into account. She isn't too bad at the moment, just can't walk very far if symptoms matter to this kind of thing. They're just going abroad to Spain to have a quiet holiday.
We are thinking of giving them money for their birthdays and Christmas this year so they could find another little break away after Christmas maybe.
Any advice would be helpful ~ thanks.

I'm afraid I don't know specifically about MS, but I have just managed to get insurance covering my pre-existing conditions with insure and go. Other insurers either would cover me excluding that or just refuse to cover me at all, so I was pretty surprised when they covered the lot. Might be worth just trying for an online quote?Softstuff- Officially better than 0070

Thanks for the advice. It's a minefield with so many different companies.
The other thing that the travel agent told them was that she would have to have medical screening, does that mean she would have to see a doctor before being insured or do you just have to answer some medical questions about your condition?
My mum has had her MRI results and they have said she has MS but she hasn't yet got her appointment to see the Neurologist and god knows how long that is going to take it's been ages now. Don't know if that makes any difference to getting insurance.:heart2: Current Reading Book: [STRIKE]Avengers Angel by Heather Killough-Walden[/STRIKE](on hold) The Good, The Bad, and the Undead - Kim Harrison

Some companies do medical screening online, I think Direct Travel is one of them. With other companies you have to call their medical screening helpline.
Not cheap, but cover most conditions

I was screened by answering questions online with insure and go. Other companies can be quite bizarre in the screenings, wanting doctors to sign letters or wanting forms faxed. Sometimes they will ask if you're waiting to see a specialist, but give it a shot and see what happens.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -

Hi, I have MS and use Columbus direct.
You fill in an online screening form.
The other thing to do is look on the MS Society website.
