Item view count

I remember when almost all items for sale on eBay used to have a view counter on the listing, so everyone could see how popular an item seemed to be.
They hardly seem to have this now.
Is there a way (as a buyer) to find out how many views an item has had?

    Why,may i ask? (to answer your question,no!)

As a seller you can hide this counter.
Lose is to not win......Loose is not tight......get it right!
  • Hi, recently I have found that if I go into my listing it states the views at the top of the page. The other way you can see listing views is to log in on ebay.com - everything is in $ but it does show you the listing views. HTH x
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

To gauge how many people might be interested / likely to bid.
I'm trying to decide whether to be one of those annoying buyers who asks about adding a BIN to an auction to end it early :D
  • Not that I know of.

Goofbay will show you the amount of watchers an item has if that's any help.

I think thats only for sellers to see views on their own listings.

I thought this was only if something had at least one bid on it?
  • Yeah, the goofbay link didn't come up with anything.
I guess I'll just have to be patient and bid normally :)
