I won an item on Friday from a seller with about 50 feedback, generally positive with the odd quibble about dispatch time.
This would normally go for £6-7, I got it for £2.30 with free delivery, meant to be sent first class recorded.
Now am I being too cynical, as I'm sitting here waiting for the "oops it's broken, can we cancel?" message.

Yes, it's only been 2 days after the sale, over a weekend.
Give them a chance at least, unless their feedback suggests they are untrustworthy.0 -
seller could turn around and give you an excuse but highly unlikely....do they want to risk negative feedback for a few pounds. I'm sure they'll honour it.
I've won books for 99p with free postage and they have always posted them out. I'm sure you'll get it0 -
The dispatch time issue might concern me but in general I have never had a problem with this either (except on another fixed price site where it took one seller three weeks and a dispute to send me an item priced slightly lower than usual)."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

I bid on an auction with a BIN, And a £50 start with a reserve.
I was the 2nd bidder and didnt meet the reserve so only bid £51.
This was less than 1/3rd of his BIN price so kept looking.
Several days later i got a 2nd chance offer at the £51.
Shocked was an understatement.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Out of curiosity, how did this work out in the end?0

It came - I stand corrected. And still a little surprised. Although I've diddled myself on postage in the past, I never completely expect other people to do the same. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Glad it worked out
