hi
I have an apple I phone and have just acquired a laptop (my son's old one). I previously had my music on a different laptop.
I have just tried to sync all the music which was on my phone to put onto the new laptop but it did not work. Unfortunately, everything has been wiped on both the laptop and my phone - about 400 tracks.
Can someone tell me how I go about getting them back?
Many thanks
Terri

Not much help to the OP, but this is yet another thread along the lines of "itunes has just lost all of my music".
I find it abhorrent that this POS software could allow this to happen without some sort of " are you sure you want to do do this" warning.

What Iphone do you have and do you have the latest software. In some of the older phones with older software it is possible to transfer the music off your Iphone onto your laptop, but unfortunately due to Apple being stiffbums they stopped almost all programs from being able to do it in later versions. Poppycock if you ask me!2012-2013 Deposit target £2663.05/ £3876.74 :j

As custardy says, it does warn you.
You need to lose that big chip on your shoulder(although I will concede on the single library being shared amongst multiple iOS devices not being the easiest to setup)
And yes I have (and develop) iOS, Android and RIM devices so can understand the pros and cons of each one, which is why I dont advocate iOS over Android anymore (RIM is a different story).0 -

It DOES have this. If you try and Sync an iPod which has previously been Synced to another machine, it definitely says "Are you SURE?". I've seen it.0 -

Sync the iPhone to the old laptop.
Copy the music from the iTunes library on the old machine to the matching library on the new one, then, if you want to, Sync to the new machine.0
