Lloyds Credit Card and Default

Lloyds has sent me a default notice for a credit card recently, despite the fact that my credit report is only showing one payment behind! I have been over my limit due to charges, is there anything I can do to challenge this?
I'd been strongly under the impression that they wouldn't defaulting me until 3 payments late.

Standard procedure within the industry. It's designed to spur you into action.
They don't normally place a formal default marker (the dreaded '8') on your credit file until you're 6-8 months in arrears, ie after a string of 1,2,3,4,5,6 markers.0 -
Is it not a notice of default sum £12?
Different to a default notice.:beer:0
