HI there i am 21 years old and have 2 creation creditcards with £2641 owed and is about to run out of interest free period, anyways i just applied for MBNA rate balance transfer card and got a straight decline.
I am employed full time and earn £19000 a year. I have 2 credit cards with creation one with £2300 owed and one with £341 owed. I have no adverse credit history and have never missed a payment ever,i am on electoral role and have a mobile phone contract which i have had sine i turned 18.
Which is the best creditcard to apply for that i have a good chance of being accepted. Thanks for any help.

Perhaps try the pre-approval check for a Fluid card? It's provided by Mbna, but it's treated as separate from Mbna so still worth trying. It lets you see if you have a good chance of getting it without marking your credit file with a search.

Are you nearly maxed out on the cards? Any late payments in the last 18 months that kind of thing.0

Have you moved home recently, or only been in your job a short time? The debt you have is quite high as a portion of your salary, so this will make getting new credit hard to get. Which is a shame because you are obviously doing the right thing managing it. All you can do is try another couple of well chosen applications and if they fail then you need to resist applying for any more and wait at least six months.0
