Praise for my employer's eye care 3rd-party company and I am in profit as well !

As I do a lot of VDU work, my employer will pay for eye tests and also glasses (up to a certain value) via a 3rd-party company.
Had my eye test. Ordered a free pair of new glasses via my local opticians and the 3rd-party company. Glasses took a very long time to be delivered. Complained via email to the company.
The glasses eventually turned up but there was a problem with one of the lenses on the glasses. After a bit of negotiating, the company agreed to let me keep the current pair of glasses, to order me a new pair free of charge and provide me with a gesture of goodwill cheque for inconveniences caused to me. As a consequence, I am in profit and have got two new free pair of glasses (with office lenses). The glasses (where one of the lenses had a problem...just a scratch) are fine for me as I can't see the scratch (opticians saw it for info when checking the glasses).
Just can't beat an email complaint to the right person !;):rotfl::j:j:j
As always HTHs and as Del Boy would say 'au revoire' !:)

Well, a company name (the 3rd party) would be very useful, otherwise we have no idea who the helpful company is...

Geeze, calm down. You're going well over the top here. This has got to be one of the rudest and most condescending posts around here for a long time! Especially from somebody who can't seem to compile a proper sentence themselves.0 -

Should your employer not be getting the money you have been given?0
